Nursing Home Administrator
Duties and Responsibilities:
Nursing home administrators have to supervise staff, monitor patients, manage disease control, and keep everything up to date. They also promote the institution to the public and they make sure that you know that confidentiality is maintained.
Salary:
The median annual salary since 2015 is $94,500.
Education:
To become a Nursing Home Administrator you must acquire all educational requirements. A bachelors or graduates degree in health services, state licensing examination (maybe), programs, and more. Some skills that required are being able to understand and take in a lot of information and being a good communicator.
Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
The career pathway of a nursing home administrator does not interest me. This job seems quite boring and is not the appropriate job for me. I do not have the loudest voice to be talking, i need to work on my speaking skills. Also I would rather be doing a different job. So, no i would not like to be a nursing home administrator.
