"I won't cheat" - Dale Murphy                            Cheating is and will never be right. There will be various opportunities where you might feel like you need to cheat. For example, test, homework, classwork, on a sport team, ect. However, by cheating you will not get anywhere in life but down. There are no benefits to cheating, only disappointments. There are many ways to overcome the urge of cheating. Examples of this are, trying and again, thinking about the consequences, and knowing that you are not only letting others down, but you are also letting yourself down. By teeling yourself every day that you will not cheat, you chances greater that you will not. When you are in a situation that someone tell you to cheat, tell them no and walk away. If they are your friend, then they aren't really a real friend so stop talking to them. It is important to play honest and you will feel good about yourself because you know that you did it honestly and

"Character matters most." - Dale Murphy                                                         Your character is what defines you as a person. It is important to always have a kind and good character. People with good character are nice, thoughtful, right heart, and a CTR person. Character matters most because it is part of your present and future. For example, if you have an amazing character, people with love you and would love to be around you. Also, if you are applying for a job and the owner sees that you have the right character for the job, then they are most likely to hire you instead of someone who's personality is horrible. Your future relies on you character, who you are as a person. Character get you many things in life such as happiness, family and friends, joy, and amazing reward that life may give you. However, if you have a horrible character, you are more likely to get into a lot of trouble, get treated how you do not want to be treated, and l

"Great beauty, great strength, and great riches are really truly of no great use; a right heart exceeds all." - Benjamin Franklin  Having materialitic things, money, and stregth are not really important or have any great use. A right heart however, it so important and neccessary. Having a right heart means that you are a great person, have an amazing character, have good intentions, and only do things for the good of someone. A person with a right heart is someone who is not selfish, rude, and always does wrong things. For example, if someone you love is in a bad situation and are very sad. Beauty, strength, and greath riches are not going to solve their problem. Instead be a person with the right heart and be there for them and support them. Now that will be a great use, they will be very happy to know that they have someone by their side. If you decide to always choose the wrong and never the right, then you don't have a right heart. It is never to late to change.

To make this decision much more easier ask yourslef if it is the right thing to do or is it the wrong thing to do. Think about the consquences that can occur and all the trouble that you can get into. However, if you do the right thing, all you eed to think about is nothing really. There will not be any bad consquence if you choose the right instead of the right. The wrong is always wrong, there will never be a time where the wrong is right. When you choose the right, great things will come to you, things that you never thought could happen to you.                            Student Success Statement             "Right is right only when entire" - Victor Hugo                                                    When something is right, it will be fully right. Right is not a half thing or 2/3 it is everything. For example, when you get in trouble and your parents ask you what happend you tell them the truth but not everything. You leave some details out so the story can sound good and not get you into more touble. Another example, you have soccer practice and you tell your coach that you need to stay afterschool for a teacher. You then go to the teacher for only 5 minutes and then you go out with your friends. That is not right because yes although you did go to the teacher you didn't stay there for a long time, you did not mention that you were going out after. Right is only right if it 100% true and full. There are no exeptions, always choose the right and honest.

"In life as in football, you won't go far, unless you know where the goalpost are" - Arnold H. Glasow                                                                    In order to succeed in life you must set goals. There can be long term goals and there can be short term goals. You can have as many goals as you would like however, make sure they are S.M.A.R.T. goals. For example, it is a busy day and you have a lot of things to do, how are you going to accomplish the goal. you accomplish it by sorting out your day and make a plan. Same thing with  your goals, you set goals in order to get where to want to get. Be smart about your goals, be realist as well because if you are not being realistic you are only lying to yourself. Also, events may get in your way but those are just temporary, after you have overcome then, continue your path. Keep your goals strong, hold on to them, and don't let other people change your path.
