They also work with other professionals to come up with the treatment plan for the patient. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons perform surgery in the mouth, jaw, teeth, neck, and facial regions. They may work in hospitals, medical centers, or dental practices.
Salary:

Education:
     To become an oral and maxillofacial surgeron you must acquire all educational requirements. The education needed to become one is a bachelors degree, dental school, residency, dental licensing, and board certificate.
Demand or Need:
     An oral and maxillofacial surgeon must have steady hands, stron leadership skills, detail oriented, staying calm, and handle stress.

     The career path way of an oral and maxillofacial surgeon is a bit interesting. there is a chance that I would like to pursue that career one day. The mouth and the face is a very interesting part of the human body and it is amazing how it functions. However, at the same time I do not want to do this. It sometimes seems a little boring. So, I would like to become one becuase if I did I would not be sure I do or not, I would know.
