Trauma Nurse
Duties and Responsibilities:
They work in the emergency room and responds to the most critical and life threatening cases. Trauma nurses think on their feet and respond quickly to the cases. They must be able to cope with stress and demands of the job. Trauma nurses work in hospitals.
Salary:
The annual wage for a trauma nurse is $60,000.
Education:
In order to become a trauma nurse you must acquire all educational requirements. These consists of a basic nursing program ( 2-3 years), bachelor of science is nursing, 1000 clinical hours in emergency unit, licensed and certified.
Reflection:
The career pathway of a trauma nurse seems a bit interesting. However, I would not like to become one. This job is interesting because they work in the emergency room, where there are critical cases. I would not like to become a trauma nurse because I would not be the one performing the surgery, I want to do that. So, I would not like to be a Trauma nurse.
