                                                           Thanksgiving Week
   
        Thanksgiving break was an amazing week. During my break I did many things with my family and had fun while doing so. On Saturday and Sunday I went with my family to Chocolate Chair, Chocolate Chair is where they serve Dragons Breathe (nitrogen ice cream sort of). My week consisted of watching Netflix, eating, playing with my dog, spending time with my family, and getting my book report done. On the day of Thanksgiving I went to my aunts house, my whole family went and celebrated Thanksgiving together. Some family members from my aunts side of  her family came from Texas and spent Thanksgiving with us. On Friday, I went Black Friday shopping with my two sisters and her friend at Stonewood Mall and bought a few jeans and tops. Also, on Thanksgiving day my dad, sister, and I went to the Memorial Park to go visit my grandpa and put him flowers. Not only did we put flowers for my grandpa but for others as well and cleaned their gravestones. During the break I would go to sleep late and wake up between 9:00am - 11:00am. When you are a ctr person, you are being the best person you can be. Being the best person you can be means that you are a honest, trust worthy, patients, honorable, brave, friendly, ect.                            MEMORIAL DAY                              Memorial Day is celebrated annually on the last Monday of May. This day is to remember the fallen, those who died serving our country.  During Memorial Day 41.5 million Americans plan to travel, 36.6 million will go by car and 3.13 will travel by plane. In addition, 90%+ close their companies on this day. A few ways to show honor and respect on Memorial Day is to wear or display a red poppy, pause at 3 pm, display the U.S. flag, attend a parade, pray for the fallen, and visit a memorial. A red poppy symbolizes the solders who dies in conflict. I plan to honor them by pausing a 3 pm and taking the time to reflect on their sacrifices and all that they've done for this country.         I believe that everyone should take the time to be thankful and grateful for all those fallen soldiers who took risked their life to serve this country.
