DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
     Their job is to check the freshness of food and ingredients. They make sure to supervise and coordinate activities, develop recipes, and order and maintain food supplies. Chefs hire and train new cooks and inspect supplies and other food.  
SALARY:
     The median annual salary for a chef since 2011 was $46,600.
EDUCATION:

     In order to become a chef you must acquire all educational requirements. These requirements consist of 1-5 years of experience, certification, Culinary arts degree field, High school diploma or equivalent.
DEMAND OR NEED:
     There are skills that it is important for chefs to have. These are computer skills, technical skills, refine sense of smell, leadership skills, time management, etc.
REFLECTION: Do you think you would like to be one?
     The career pathway of a chef does not interest me. They need to know how to cook good and tasty food. Cooking is something that I am not very good at or have a passion for. I would rather eat the food than make it because  do not like to be in the kitchen. There job seems difficult tome because they know what foods go good together and which do not. So, I would not like to be a chef.
