Duties and Responsibilities:
     There job is to determine the best treatment for destroying cancer cells. They diagnose cancers and tumors in patients using 3 dimensional images. Radiation oncologist check up on patients to make sure they are stable, plan the best treatment, and speak to the patients about their condition. They may work in hospitals, private offices, group practice and work and unusual hours.
Salary: 
     The average salary for a radiation oncologist is $151,000 as of 2010.
Education:
     In order to become a radiation oncologist you must acquire all educational requirements. These requirements consists of a bachelors degree, apply to medical school, 12 month of internship, 4 years of training, certification, and licensed.
Demand or Need:
     The career pathway of a radiation oncologist has certain skills they must have. These include communication skills, motivational, leadership skills, and passionate.
Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one?
     The career pathway of a radiation oncologist seems interesting. However, I would not like to become one for various reason. First of all, working with cancer it's self is difficult and you need to be very understanding for that. Although, they do make good money, cancer is something that I do not want to work with. There are many other jobs that I can do instead of this. So, I would not like to become a radiation oncologist.
