They evaluate interventions, document and analyze patient's progress, teach patients how to deal with stress, anxiety, or depression. They may work in hospitals, nursing homes, or government parks.

The career pathway of a recreation therapist does not interest me. Personally, I like to work with animals and help them get better. Also, there are many things about this career that I do not find exciting. I would rather be something else other than a recreation therapist because other jobs have new challenges everyday. I want to have a career that is always going to be interesting, fun, challenging, and a job that I will enjoy.
