X-ray technicians have many duties and responsibilities they must complete each day. They help maintain equipment, follow procedures and orders, protect patients when x-ray is being taken. There job is to take x-rays on patients to diagnose them. They will also need to work with physicians and prepare mixtures for the patient to drink.

In order to become a x-ray technician you must require all educational requirements. These educational requirements consist of an associated degree, licensed, certificate, post secondary education, and accredited programs.
Demand or Need:
In every career there are skills that one must have. For a x-ray technician you must have the skill of being detail oriented, physical stamina, math skills, technical skills, and interpersonal skills.

The medical career pathway of a x-ray technician does not interest me. There are many aspects about this career that catches my attention and some do not. For example, using x-rays seem interesting to work with, but it will get boring after a while. Also, they seem like they do not do much but take x-rays over and over again, no excitement. Therefore, the medical career of a x-ray technician is not something that I would like to become.
